PELLETS, HORMONE IMPLANTS, or HORMONE CHIP. WHAT ARE THEY?

Hormone Implants, pellets, or the

Did you know that hormone replacement therapy using subcutaneous implants has been performed for over 70 years? In fact, many scientists have published scientific articles with positive evaluations of the benefits of this type of therapy in internationally recognized journals for decades. Isomolecular hormone therapy with implants was developed in Europe in the 1930s. It proved to be an excellent treatment for hormone deficiencies, especially during menopause. It was the highly respected physician and pioneer of endocrinology, Dr. Robert B. Greenblatt, who studied and developed this method, and introduced it to his American colleagues in 1939. Today, doctors worldwide use subcutaneous hormone implants to restore hormonal balance in men and women of all ages.

When administered correctly, the release system of subcutaneous implants promotes a safe and effective HRT. In fact, this route of administration remains the only hormone delivery method that most closely mimics what human ovaries and testicles do naturally. This method ensures continuous release, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in small dosages similar to what the human body typically does. You don't have to affix hormone patches to your skin, apply creams, or remember to take pills. Furthermore, you will be free from the hormonal fluctuations of highs and lows (rollercoaster effect) in the blood, caused by other types of therapy. Hormone implants also release hormones into the bloodstream as needed by the human body at each moment, releasing more or fewer hormones when highly or minimally required, for example, during exercise and stress (high) and rest (low), leading to better and safer clinical results.

Many patients using creams, pills, injections, and patches discover that their hormone treatment can lead to undesirable side effects over time. Methods that do not use implants release an irregular and imprecise amount of hormone dosage, which produces a rollercoaster-like effect, with ups and downs in these patients' blood hormone levels. Over time, “extra” hormones that were stored in the body can re-enter the bloodstream, which can cause progressive overdosing (excessive doses). This situation can lead to a cascade of imbalances and problems even worse than the initial issues they attempted to solve! The continuous release of regular and stable doses, performed by implants in a manner that your body requires, is the major differentiator of this hormone administration route. After decades of clinical experience, we conclude that this is the only reliable route of hormone replacement administration when aiming to ensure optimized and balanced hormone levels in the body.
